A much anticipated, spooky new walkthrough show has opened to rave reviews this week as part of Belfast International Arts Festival.
The Ghost House, by award winning children’s theatre company, Cahoots runs until Halloween night. The show takes place inside an enormous complex of creepy corridors and shadowy rooms that has been built from scratch within 10,000 sq ft of disused warehousing space inside Cityside Retail and Leisure Park
The groundbreaking show is a completely new immersive theatre experience where the audience experiences a ‘time slip’ event, stepping into the past and visiting a number of eerie locations on the hunt for the ghost of infamous highwayman, Black Hearted Benjamin.
Early visitors to The Ghost House praised the performances of its cast of local and international performers and the high production values of the show’s many set pieces, which include elements of stage illusion, dramatic monologue and contemporary dance.
