Kick Off Christmas With A World Cup Letter From Santa

NSPCC annual festive campaign will raise vital funds for Childline

Written by Father Christmas himself, sent from the North Pole and hoof-delivered to your door, an NSPCC Letter from Santa, will bring extra festive joy to the children in your life and also raise vital funds for Childline.

In return for a donation, Santa will write a personalised Christmas letter to your little one featuring enchanting stories and illustrations, and lots of details that only Santa could know – such as their age, where they live and their favourite activity.

NSPCC Letters from Santa come in a choice of eight magical designs and new this year, to coincide with the World Cup, a team of ‘Premiership’ elves will be helping Santa write World Cup-themed letters especially for young footie fans.

Other options include a special design to celebrate baby’s first Christmas, or you could choose a traditional hand-drawn design.

You can make each letter as unique as your child by adding achievements, highlights of their year, a personal message and much more.

Sadly, Christmas isn’t a happy time for every child and at NSPCC we want to ensure our trained Childline counsellors are always there to talk – day or night, over the phone or online, free and in confidence.

Every donation (suggested minimum £8) when you order an NSPCC Letter from Santa will go towards the Childline service, so more calls can be answered from young people who are struggling, even on Christmas Day.

On average, two children contact Childline every minute.

For these children, Christmas can be the worst time of the year. There are calls about abuse, about neglect, about self-harm, and anxiety – about things no child should have to deal with.

And then there are the calls on Christmas Day. Calls from children, asking for help on what should be the most magical day of the year. The day children should feel happy and safe.

Childline is the only service in the UK there specifically for children whatever their worry, 24/7, 365 days a year, even on Christmas Day.

But we can’t do it alone.

Go to: www.letterfromsanta.nspcc.org.uk to order your letter and help ensure that on Christmas Day, and every day this winter, the NSPCC and Childline can be here for all children.

*The deadline for orders placed online is midnight on December 18 and by post, December 8. Childline can be contacted 24/7, 365 days a year, for free on: 0800 1111 and online at: www.childline.org.uk
