One of the most in-demand rock ‘n’ roll ensembles, Lukas Nelson and Promise Of The Real (POTR), are coming to the Ulster Hall on June 22.
The band, consisting of Lukas Nelson alongside bassist Corey McCormick, drummer Anthony LoGerfo, percussionist Tato Melgar, and multi-instrumentalist Logan Metz (POTR), are known for their unique sound which covers rock and roll, country, soul, folk and R&B.
Debuting over a decade ago, the band have toured for much of that time, playing sold-out one-night shows and gigs around the world.
The group have also occasionally served under veteran vocalist Neil Young as his road band. As well as this, in 2018, Nelson co-produced the GRAMMY-winning music for the critically and commercially popular film, A Star Is Born.
More recently, the band achieved great success with their 2019 album Turn Off The News (Build A Garden), with the success only increasing in 2021 thanks to their widely acclaimed
studio album, A Few Stars Apart. It stayed at #1 on the Americana Albums charts for seven non-consecutive weeks, with Rolling Stone describing it as their “best album, yet”.
