Emmy award winner David Cross brings his new tour, Worst Daddy In The World, to the Ulster Hall on September 12.
It follows on from his previous comedy special, David Cross: I’m From The Future, which premiered last year as an international livestream event on his website.
The comedian is perhaps most acclaimed for his TV special, David Cross: The Pride is Back, which was named one of the 25 best stand-up comedy specials and concert films of all time by Rolling Stone in July 2015.
As well as being a comedian, David is a successful actor, writer and producer both on stage and on screen. Notable appearances include the National Geographic series, Genius: Aretha, and in the HBO Max film, 8-Bit Christmas. He has also provided his vocal abilities for several animated films, including Megamind, the Kung Fu Panda franchise and Curious George.
Speaking of the new show, David said: “It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I must inform you that I will be going back out on tour this year. I just found out myself.
“Seems the tour is called Worst Daddy In The World. Please allow my family and the rest of North America (but not Mexico), and eventually some of Europe, to grieve in peace. Sorry, David Cross.”
Tickets to the 12 September show are priced between £33 and £38 and are available from the Ulster Hall’s website https://www.ulsterhall.co.uk/what-s-on/david-cross
