This year, broadcaster Robin Elliott celebrates twenty years of working with local TV Channel NVTV.
His weekly chat show Robin Elliott Tonight is currently watched by around 104,000 people each week (Barb figures) on Freeview Channel 7 & Virgin 159.
From 5th June the show that features celebrity guests, entertainment news and local music is set to reach an even bigger audience as Robin’s programme will now also be shown on Sky 181 broadcasting throughout the whole of the UK & Ireland.
“By hitting such a wider audience, I hope that we can show the best of what Northern Ireland has to offer in terms of music, the arts, food & drink and tourism” said Robin.
“Over the years the programme is also a hugely important output to local singer/songwriters and bands to showcase their music. It also provides a much needed platform to promote the Arts in Northern Ireland and we will continue to do just that”.
Coming up on this week’s show Robin has been catching up with Callum Best at this year’s NI B Fit Awards for a chat about managing a women’s football team, hair loss & keeping fit.
Lycra-clad TV workout legend Mr Motivator tells us why he aims to help blind and partially sighted people fall back in love with exercise and blind marathon runner Tony Barclay tells us why he has got involved in this latest campaign.
We also meet all the winners from this year’s NI B Fit Awards which were held in Belfast’s Europa Hotel. Broadcaster & Journalist Kim Kelly meets Clair Gunning Stitt from Cosmetics Company Oh My Glam. We check out the new Mercedes V-Class with Travis Skelton and there is music from Daniel James, Derek Ryan & Taylor Lally.
Robin also held a TV launch party recently at Shake Or Stir, Belfast with live entertainment from Pinsleep, Randall Stephen Hall, Cara McGillion, Conal Montgomery & Empty Spaces.
