Smash-hit musical Dirty Dancing is set to visit Belfast’s Grand Opera House later this summer.
The stage adaptation of the cult classic movie of the same name has just finished a season at London’s Dominion Theatre and is now hitting the road to showcase the performance to audiences across the UK.
Following 17-year old Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman as she becomes mesmerised by dancing, the emotional story is perfectly portrayed on stage by heart-pounding music and tentative dialogue.
Starring Kira Malou and Michael O’Reilley as famed protagonists Baby and Johnny respectively, the musical is not one to be missed when it visits Belfast.
Taking place at the Grand Opera House from Tuesday August 22 to Saturday September 2, the show has been watched around the world and can soon be viewed by a Northern Irish audience once again.
Known for being the fastest ever selling show in West End theatre history, the much-loved story includes songs such as Hungry Eyes and the iconic The Time of My Life.
The Observer described the show as “the biggest live theatre sensation of all time”, with critical acclaim following the show through every performance.
Tickets to see Dirty Dancing are priced from £31.50 and are on sale now from goh.co.uk/dirty-dancing
