Four Inspiring Newry women have been announced amongst 12 finalists for homegrown holistic weight loss and wellness company, Unislim’s inaugural Inspire Awards. Each of the members have been recognised for their unique stories and transformations across three categories.
Mairead Mc Caul who has lost an incredible 9st, has been shortlisted for the Most Inspiring Transformation award, which celebrates a member’s extraordinary transformation, whilst Andrea McCormack and Jennifer McGennity were both shortlisted for the WOW Award, which recognises a personal accomplishment unrelated to weight loss.
Finally, Sandra Morley was shortlisted for the Health Hero Award, which pays tribute to a member who has overcome health challenges during their journey with Unislim.
The fourth category is the Community Spirit Award, which recognises individuals who have helped to support and motivate other members.

One of the finalists, Mairead, says, “I’m honoured to have been shortlisted for the Most Inspiring Transformation category at Unislim’s first ever Inspire Awards.
“I’ve struggled with my weight throughout my entire adult life and prior to joining Unislim, had tried every weight loss plan out there with no success.
“Since joining, I have lost over 9 stone, my energy levels have soared, and I can walk and run with ease. I feel much healthier and am excited for the future.
“It really has been transformative!”
The awards ceremony, where the winners of the four categories will be unveiled, will be held at The Merchant Hotel, Belfast, on 4th October 2023.
